This is a practice activity for teachers to learn how students can submit an assignment to Canvas directly from their Google Drive accounts.
1. Make sure you have gone into your Canvas Account Settings and added Google Drive from the "Other Web Services" to your account giving permission to the Canvas server to communicate with your Google account and signed in to Google correctly.
2. Create a practice Google Doc and name it "I Can Submit A Google Doc to Canvas"
3. In your Google Doc share one or two sentences about how you use Google Docs with students in your class.
4. Submit your Google Doc to this assignment.
Note - This assignment was set up with "Online" Submission Type and the "File Uploads" box was checked. This will allow anyone with a linked Google Drive account to submit a file from their Google Drive account.
