Creating Pages
Don't spend money on the copy machine making papers that will just get lost.
Put your content online where students can access it from anywhere. No excuses!
There are several ways to create a new content page in Canvas. The first, and perhaps easiest, is to click the "Pages" menu item on the left and then select "View All Pages". On this landing page you'll find the "New Page" button over on the right.
Using the "+ Page" button is great for creating pages as you go, but it's also easy to build pages more quickly in the Modules view. By clicking the "+" button on the far right of each Module's menu line you can add a variety of content. Pages that have already been created can be moved into a module or you can create a brand new page.
If you choose to create a new page you'll be prompted with a smart window pop-up to set a name for this new page and set any indentation that you'd like in place.
Like all content in Canvas your new page will not be visible unless you publish the page. Look for the cloud to be green if it is published, gray if it is not.
Canvas Efficiency Tip:
As you're building your course in Canvas use the Module view to quickly make all the pages you're going to need in the course and leave them unpublished until you're ready to add content. The drag and drop feature in Canvas makes it easy to arrange your pages in order through each module as you're building your course.
